Steps to Issuing a Scouting Calling

• Invite to serve with a copy of the Adult Leader Application in hand. You can pick these up at your nearest Council Service Center
• After the person accepts the calling, and before they leave, have them completely fill out the appilcation including social security number for a background check
• Submit the original to the Council
• Wait a couple of weeks before sustaining them in church to allow for the background check to clear
