As we are all facing the current situation with COVID-19, the GTC is committed to continue scouting in our council, even if it's from home!

Here you will find activities, tools, and resources for scouts, parents, and leaders to continue working on advancement or just have fun.

Check back regularly and let your friends know about theses great options for at-home fun and learning for Scouting families and non-Scouting families alike.

Youth Protection Reminder

It’s critical that we all continue to keep youth protection top-of-mind whether our Scouting activities are taking place in person or through a digital platform.
Of note, remember that BSA prohibits any one-on-one interaction between
an adult leader and a Scout – in person, online, through a web conference,
over the phone, via text, or in any other form.

Detailed youth protection information is available here.

To ensure you are following safety standards for all Scouting activities,
please reference the Guide to Safe Scouting.

The BSA’s Social Media Guidelines serve as a complement to our youth protection policies.

National Statement on COVID-19

To our Scouting community,
In Scouting, we vow to help other people at all times. Now, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, our Scouting community must do its part to slow the spread of the virus, which will save lives and avoid overwhelming our local healthcare infrastructure.

The safety of Scouts, volunteers, employees and our communities is our top priority.

With safety in mind and based on guidance from national health officials, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is strongly advising that in-person meetings, activities, events and gatherings of 10 or more people be suspended through the end of March. Please also follow any restrictions outlined by your state and local health department or other state and local authorities. This applies to youth and adults out of an abundance of caution.Continue Reading...Resources:
